vb diff replacement

hey guys ive had abit of a search but cant really find the info im looking for so if its a question asked before i apologise..
Ive recently purchased a black vb commodore sedan with a 253 and aussie 4 speed but the salsbury diff is ****ed.. what diffs are interchangeable with my cars? i understand i cant use a wagons.. and being mines drum brakes id have to convert to disc if i used a newer model diff? whats required to do this?
