vc v8 manual tansmission problems? HELP
PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE SOLUTION!
i hve a holden commodore vc SL/E v8 manual its hard to find gears some time and when i finally get it into gear when i take off just as my foot is about to come off the clutch theres this massive loud CLUNK sound coming from the gearbox? its doesnt do it in 2nd gear but every other gear makes the noise does any one have any idea of what this could be?? thanks mark

Gearbox may need a rebuild.

Ummm not sure. Depends on where you go really. I say its a M21 manual gearbox?

yeah. its a m21. do u recon it would be cheaper and quicker to just get a second hand reco 1 put in?

Can be but there is a lot of dodgy reco ones out there. Shop around.
