Default Calais Electric Cluster Thingy In SL Vacationer

    Hey

Just wondering if a calais dash cluster (the electric dash) will fit into my VK without too much modification?

    Cheers

F$#% give people a chance to answer!!! We dont wait here for you to ask a simple question.

Yes it will fit without modification although you will need all the parts, wiring harness, transducer, speedo cable & module, temp sensor, coolant sensor etc..

Yeah sarcasm doesnt come over well over text plus its a bit of a go at me, ari and the rest of the regulars etc for not getting this one must have slipped through the cracks.

Yeah, I have a complete conversion boxed away incase I want to put it into my VK, I have a spare clutster as well if your interested in the cluster only Everything works on it as of 2 yrs ago when it was pulled out of the car.

Make sure you get all the bits, there is a coolant level sensor for the radiator you will need to wire that in diagrams are on my site, also the transducer is getting rarer now and you will need 2 speedo cables from the gear box to the transducer plus the wiring harness as it is different to the std cluster.

    cheers

I looked into it man, is a right head fcuk to get going right, and scotts right bits are hard to get. I also have a full cluster, but changed my mind and went full after market gauges.. Your best bet would be to get a wrecked Calais and swap the whole loom over, sensors etc etc etc. But if you do decide to do it kudos to you, and if you need any diagrams let me know and I can scan the the bits from the vk book if they ain't on scotts site.

You need the calais harness for the additional warning lights / trip computer buttons etc, im pretty sure it interfaces to the dash cluster as well.
Post a pic of the plugs I can soon tell you.

    cheers
