vk wont start

the engine was running, and just been gettin harder and harder to start and keeps stallin when its runnin, and now it just wont start, its gettin fuel.. im stumped ??

Is it happening all over the place, eg: both when cold & warm?
Could be a vacuum leak ? check all the hoses coming from the carb for any cracks or damage.
Have you changed or done anything to it recently?

if its efi, in the fuse box, the relay that has somethin to do with fuel pump. wiggle the wires goin in. took me forever to figure this one out! prob not why yours wont start but i thought id give my 2 cents.

no its not efi, and the only thing ive really done to it it put in a sound system, wit a amp?? not sure if that would do anythin>??

alternator not up to the job anymore? cant charge the battery enough to run sound system as well as car? so battery going flat while driving?

Could be a stripped cam gear or distributor gear. Pull the cap off the distributor and check to see if the rotor button turns when you wind the motor over.
