Vh - vk hdt gp3 brock head light rubbers

Hi, has any one fitted these head light rubbers to there VH or VK's just trying to find out how you fit them the best way, double sided tape and what type.
They go on top of the head light.

I used a Tesa double tape on mine but took them off as they foulded the headlight protectors. The Tesa tap I used is about 200gsm extremely thin but the ultimate in double tape it sticks like shit to a sheeps arse.
