What Tail Lights do I have???????????

Hey Gurus,

Quick one for you. I'm in dire need of some new tail lights. Not the lenses but the whole thing. I've heard that you can get genuine VH tail lights any more but other models fit. VK VL etc. I'm looking around eBay for some more but I'm not sure if what I've founds are the right ones.

Attached is a pic of the outside and inside. In short, this car was my Grandfathers and he had a heavy right foot. Both forward and reverse. And what he lacked in depth perception he made up for with superglue. God knows how many times these lights have been cracked but there's glue all over them and it's just holding on. It's time for them to go.

My car is a VH Commodore SL. Nothing fancy but if you think another models tail lights would look good please let me know. or post up a pic.

id try and get VH ones, i think you can fit vk rear lights (not 100%) but i dont like that idea personally, id rather go with the proper VH ones and put the Rear light extensions on.

look for someone whose wrecking a VH on ebay and ask them for the rear light covers and extensions if they have them, there is usually about 3-5 people wrecking their VH

mine were a bit crappy and they were that horrible red color too, luckily no cracks though and no super glue, so i took them out and sprayed them black and they came up like new, and i also added the rear light extensions.

vk ones fit. i have vk ones in my vh. but the white ones are crap if u like them.

Thanks mate. I picked up a pair of VC SL/E tail lights on eBay but one of then was damaged in the post. I've managed to repair it but i know it'll shit me down the track. I'll send you an e-mail when it does and if you still have them i'll take em off your hands.
