hey the est light comes on when driving my vk what is it and how do i fix it thanks ben

electronic spark timing, means theres a fault in it somewhere and your in limp home mode. normal fault from memory, throttle position switch, check to make sure the contacts are closing when at idle. if not, adjust.

get a he1 distrubutor from either an injected vk or a vc -vh.
throw the est as far as you can

It means there is an issue in the system (its the same as a check engine light), could be sensor or actual computer. There is a wire behind the rocker cover at the back in the main harness that you earth to put it in diagnostic mode, it will make the EST light flash and give you codes. Eg 1 flash slight pause, then 2 flashes = code 12, will try to find a list of codes, have it somewhere. Earth the wire with the engine running when the light comes on next.
