Hi guys, i am going to put a 304 into my VH project at some stage so i thought i should start hunting around for a diff and tailshaft. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best diff and tailshaft i should put in? The motor will have a VN transmission bolted to it, i think its the t700 trans. The cable kickdown ones. Also i want the diff to be an LSD.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Vl turbo diff would be good, LSD and 3.45:1 i think they are? then if its the same as manuals for autos, front half of VN T700 trans shaft to rear of VL shaft.
Yeah i have been looking at the vl diffs they seem alright. With the tailshaft i'll need them to be v8 ones yeah?

Unsure if Vn V8 shafts are different to VK ones as i know in a Vk, the Vl rb30 shaft is the same size centre joint as the Vk V8 and vn v6 but unsure if Vl V8s have a larger one agian.
Hi guys, just bringing back my old thread rather than starting a new one. I have been looking for a while and can't find a VL Turbo diff but i have found a VB/C/H/K 10 bolt lsd diff with 3.08 ratio, would these be any good to use with a 304?
Cheers!

yep and to make it as strong or stronger then the vl turbo/v8 diff you can get 4 pinion lsd centers for them only down side is lack of ratio choice.
Ok sweet. What would be a good ratio to use? I will mainly be using the car for cruising but i still would like it to be able to get up and go!
