253 m21 in vk which tailshaft options are available

im putting a 253 and m21 manual in my vk but i dont have a tailshaft yet do you have to use a specific manual v8 tailshaft or will an auto one do or will a 6cyl manual tailshaft fit also ive got a question about pedal boxes for vb - k i see them advertised as v8 pedal boxes is there any difference at all between an 8 pedal box and a 6 or are the sellers just speaking shit to try and inflate the price any help would be great.

Standard driveshaft, auto ones are same spline and same length as the 4 speed. V8s and the later EFI sixes have bigger unis but otherwise identical.

A V8 pedal box is different in terms of the clutch pedal - it pivots lower (with extra brackets on the box to mount it) and has a longer hook on the end to give the longer throw required for the V8 fork.
