    Default handbrake not releaseing correctly

    am I missing a spring?

    or do I need to investigate something else?

    your exactly right you need a springs holden may still do them install a new one

    cheers scott (you 100%?) I can claim my winning from a family bet.
    so i wont look the complete dick at holden dealer trying to get them
    anyone have an exploded drawing?
    to put in uncle w ducks face he tells us we just need to remove the valve caps and drop a new car under them then get a new set of valve caps

    Damn sure I am certain I built my VK from the ground up and I put the springs on mine.

    I have an exploded diagram in holden part finder will have to load it on an old PC as PF will run on XP but not on a later OS

    I checked from pics of my rear brake setup and you can see thespring in the backing plate. Plus I remember slicing my hand open when I slipped fitting one on my diff. I have the scar to prove

    anyway heres a pic where you can clearly see the spring.
