Hi. I'm only "brand new" at posting so hope I'm doing this right. I have owned a VC V8 SLE Commodore for about 12 months now and I'm having constant problems with blowing electronic ignition modules and wondering whether anyone may have experienced the same thing and can assist with the cause. I bought the SLE a year ago and it wasn't running as it had no spark. I had a spare electonic dizzy at home from a previous car and changed the module in the dizzy and the car started immediately. In the last 12 months I have replaced 5 electronic modules in the distributor. I will be driving the car and it is fine. I will park it somewhere and when I go to start it, it will just crank without any spark. I'll buy a new module and fit it and the car will run again for a few weeks to a few months and the whole thing occurs again. It has cost me a fortune in buying new modules and am getting very frustrated with the unreliability of the car. Any anyone please shed some light on what may be going on? Please help....
