Default Starfire engine mounts worn out?

so today i was driving along the highway, straight road, all of a sudden the car starts vibrating, but whenever i go over a bump if stops for a moment. because the engines not at heavy on the mounts for a quick moment
it smooths out when im at speed and the engine is revving, but its still there just not as much
im 90% sure the engine is fine because it does run fine if the motor isnt shaking about (like starfires do)
if im accelerating the the motor is running smooth then it doesnt do it at all

are the engine mounts worn out?
    they look pretty old

so i took it into the auto shop, and it needs new engine mounts, but no ones makes starfire mounts anymore.

so i desparately need some engine mounts for a VH starfire motor?
does anyone have some i can buy and have sent to me?

6cyl ones are different to 4cyl ones

im pretty sure if you ask the wrecker nicely he will include the engine mounts with the 202 you are going to buy off him.

Whats different to the 6cyl ones ,i thought they where the same. The engine mounts on my torana where the same when i converted form starfire to 202.The only different's was the bracket from engine mount to block.

Might be worth a check with Toyota as the Starfire was used in Coronas of the same vintage, they may have the same mounts and may still be able to supply.

Check with Barsby Spares in Maryborough Qld they are a huge Holden wrecker with new and used parts. They have a website.

The Torana Starfires used the same mounts as the sixes, but somewhere along the line they changed them with the VH and VK at least having a completely different setup (both cross member and mounts).

You must be able to find some good second hand mounts somewhere, a lot of people have removed them! It may be possible to have new rubber bonded onto the plates but I'm sure it would be excessively expensive.
