Yes you certainly can. I run an Innovate motorsport AFR gauge on my petrol Hilux so i could tune my weber properly. I bought the kit on ebay. It has the oxygen sensor, wiring, gauge and installation instructions. It cost around 320 dollars a couple of years ago.

go get yourself a second hand o2 sensor. you will need to weld a bung into your exhaust. it usually goes just before the cat, but your doesnt have a cat, so install it roughly near the trans x-member.

then go to jaycar and get this: Fuel/Air Mixture Display Kit - Jaycar Electronics

you will need to run a signal wire from the o2 to that unit, the o2 will need +12v and possibly earth, depending on what o2 you get. the o2 uses heat to send a pulse voltage to the display so this unit WILL NOT BE USEFUL FOR TUNING YOUR CAR! all its good for is displaying approximate afr's. you will need to hook the car up to a proper analyser first to zero out the display. otherwise it may say your running rich, but really itll be lean, or vice versa. and if your hooking it up to a alanayser... why not just ge it tuned then and there?

an EXPENSIVE vacuum guage is reaaaallly useful, if you have a holly.... if you have a variajet, its a waste of time. i bought a cheap ebay one, worked great, till it didnt work anymore. so dont waste your money on cheap, expensive s better.

also big tachos make you look like your blind/retarded. i agree that a tacho is very necessary, but big ones just make pppppffftt.
