She lives! Now as alot of ya know I been havin endless troubles with my vk after swapping the engine to an efi 202 and had lots of guys on here try helping time after time! Well iv finally got it running and starting and not starting with the high beams and and it's unbelievable! So a very big thanx to ari and scott mainly but anyone else that gave advice thanx! I'm very grateful! All I hafta do is fix a couple vacuum leaks and weld up the exhaust and she be ready for the road!

It was that plug I took a photo of! I got the max ellarys workshop manual off eBay today and it had better diagrams in it and I could trace the wrong leads and get em in right! I think I might need a new manifold gasket cos there is smoke comin from a section but it only happens when the engine warms up do ya think it might just be oil burning away or the gasket? Cheers for ya help dude! I can save up for the gen 3 I wanna put in it now. Otherwise I was just gonna get the ecotech six.

the purple wire from this plug goes to the starter motor off the trans safety switch

pic 1. doesnt look wrong to me. C is your main power plug. thats the one i tell people to cut off and solder the wires together. the pink wires power everything 'ignition on' in your car, there is so much current going through the plug that the connections melt. red is + constant, black is earth and purple is starter. i cant make out what A is for, looks like an additional earth of some kind. and B i wouldnt have a clue.

also: if you are having probs wiring up a 5 wire plug, then you should prolly get an expert to do your conversion

Lol yea was that plug I swapped two of em over and one wasn't conntacting properly! Yea I could find the soldering iron so can solder it up yet! Yea I won't be doing the next conversion! Took me months to do a swap like that!
