Me little bro tried making one of these. He didn't put it in the exhaust, just used a length of pipe to put the spark plug in first, then sat it in the end of the exhaust to try it to see if it worked b4 he went to the trouble of mounting a spark plug in his exhaust. Couldn't get it igniting....maybe was running too good lol. Sprayed a bit of flammable gear through the pipe, hit the switch and it ignited tho....just couldn't get it to ignite unburnt fuel.

best way to get a defect notice on your car and unwanted attenion from the cops with a good chance of a explosion too good luck with your flame thrower kit .

i think thats because the kits you usually buy cut power to your engines coil when you press a button, so when you push a button it shuts off the spark to your spark plugs and a separate coil that comes with the kit uses a spark plug in the exhaust to burn the unburned fuel when you pump the accelerator at the same time

Why? Im pretty sure that you are allowed to have it attached, but not to use it.

And what are you thinking when you say explosion?

The Zorst flamethrower kit is basically a spark plug in the end of your exhaust

Hmmm....makes sense.....but, if ur driving, turn ur car off, pump the throttle, start it again, it goes bang and apparently CAN damage ur motor (obviously would need a carby and manual for that). I know someone who done it and blew apart their muffler. Wouldn't this be similar to how ur describing it to work?
