ohk im fair annoyed with this new power restriction law.
i cant have the V8 ive always wanted..
i cant go for a turbo or supercharger..

SO NOW WHAT!?
im stuck with a straight 6 blue motor? :/

whats some ways i can avoid this new law, but have my VC hammering?

if i got a V6 which model commodore should i get it outta?

and how much of a job is it converting a straight six VC commodore to a Injected V6 out of a later model?

aww for how long have you wanted it?? lol. V6 conversion isnt hard but you cant drive it. eiter buy a car with a V6 or drive you VC with its OEM engine.

pretty much any mod to make the car faster is banned for p platers.

And as far as i know you can't convert your straight 6 to a newer injected v6. You can't avoid the law.

If you change the motor, you will ned it engineered, and i dont think the Road Authority in your state will pass it if you register it as a p plater

just do some work to the six like aftermarket carby, exhaust maybe internals etc. or just buy a vr or vs calais like mine

According to the RTA NSW modifications guidelines you are allowed to do "owner certified" engine swaps up to 15% larger then the largest engine available in the vehicle without an engineers certificate as long as no major structural modifications are made and of course the engine has to meet emissions ect, but no doubt there would be a catch.... somewhere.
