Another quick diff question

Hi guys, i have some quick questions about a diff swap. How long are the standard axles in my 6 cylinder vh diff (salsbury single spinner)? If i bought some 28 spline axles and a LSD centre can i use my current diff case?

you will be hard pressed finding and lsd center for the "small" salsbury let alone a 28 spline one, as far as i am aware only 10 bolts had the 28 spline.

^ Yes (small Salisbury is 23 spline like Banjo), and I believe you'll find that the centre of the small Salisbury is narrower than the large one so the larger axles will be slightly shorter too. There's no way a large Salisbury centre will go in the small Salisbury housing.
