Vk help with transmission!!

Got a vk 202 motor and I picked it up for a grand, vx as wheels and clarion sound system so I thought there's my money back there, and also the trans has gone bang in it, it has the Aussie 4 speed and im wondering how hard it is to put te new trans in, and all the jaZz to get it back on the road, is it easiest to put in a 4 speed again or 5 speed, n the trans Says mc6 on the I.d plate.... Mmm any help would be great,... Also exactly wat i need, n how much I should be looking at for buying the trans

I'm not 100% sure, but he supplied me a bearing kit for it, so I'm guessing the bearings in the trans....? Is it a hard job

MC6 is the code for the Phillipino 4 speed not the Aussie one. Either way if it has gone bang its unlikely to be just bearings, cheapest fix would likely be a complete replacement box. Not hard to change.
