hey i was thinking with the old headlight like the vb to vks in the actual headlight u have the metal piece thats chrome and then u have the plastic headlight surround piece that pretty much 90% of the headlight i was thinking of painting the inside plastic black instead of the standard silver thats in there but leaving the metal (middle piece where the bulb sits in the center) that is chrome. i wanted to know if it would afect the light like make it look dim or something heres what i mean

It would still function as normal but in my opinion its looks crap as i have seen it done before and not my cup of tea at all.
taking the lenses off isnt fun the glue is a bit of a pain, but give it a go and post pics![]()
Lol ya must have an original set that ain't been pulled apart lol. Most these days are siliconed up to prevent water getting in. I seen a vk not long ago that had done what your doing n it didn't look bad but didn't look that good either. I guess it's just another way ta try make your vk uniquegive us a look when ya done.
Makes the car look like a junky...
Spastic thing to do.
hahaha i thort it would make the car look pandery or have black eyes
it will look gay, but I guess every second VT/VX Commodore has alteza tail lights fitted......
be alright if the car was black, but any other colour it would just look to out of the ordinary.
bye an old set of lights off ebay or the from the wreckers, do it to them and if it looks bad, theres hardly any money wasted.
