I've replaced the head gasket and injectors on my 202 injected engine but now it won't start. The fuel system dose pressurise and the distributor provides a strong spark, but it just keeps cranking. I've also triple checked that the spark leads are hooked up correctly.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
got your AFM & TPS plugged in?
No air leaks?
When you say you have fuel do you mean the injectors are firing or just you have fuel up to the fuel rail?
cheers

The AFM and TPS are plugged in and all air leaks have been sealed with the cunning use of silicone, cardboard and duct tape.
As for the injectors i know for sure that fuel is reaching the rail, but as for the injectors i can't give you a 100% accurate answer, although I'm starting to believe that i may have screwed up the order of the injector plugs.
The injectors all fire at the same time so swapping over injector plugs wont do too much to stop it going...make sure you have the wire from the coil -ve hooked up right as the injector pulse rely on it

I've checked that all the connectors on the coil are hooked up and that has made a difference but alas it still won't fire up, is it possible that there could be something wrong with the coil itself?
You can check that the injectors are getting power by taking off one of the injector plugs and putting a led in the plug then cranking the engine over. The light should pulse on and off. If it doesn't be sure to take the led out and put the legs in the opposite contacts just to be sure. If still no flashing then no power to the injectors. That's about all I can offer lol.
is the dizzy in the correct position ?
Ok so the engine is getting fuel if the injectors are firing
How did you check for spark? did you pull a plug out and check spart was jumping the gap? I have seen a 202 with a couple of dead leads not fire so go check all the leads. after you crank it are the plugs wet with fuel?
No air leads is good, if the injectors are firing I feel its got to be more like something that strgas suggested dizzy in correct position, firing order correct, to do a head gasket the dizzy shouldnt need to come out but the leads do so make sure your dizzy cap is fitted, wires for the ignition module in the dizzy are connected to the coil, check your fuses, check your earths and good luck.
