Primer
Just a quick question,
How much of a bad idea is it to drive just primered ?
coz it may take awhile to afford a spray, and a car is in need.

Just wait til you can afford it.
By the time you drive around in primer for a while, you will end up getting scratches, dings, chips etc in it and will have to redo most of it anyway.

primer deteriorates a lot quicker than normal paint as well! Not recommended at all to drive around with just primer
Keep in mind it is not waterproof, it will absorb moisture.

and has an outdoor life of about a week before needs ripped off and done again before painting
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

Get some Autothane 2k primer.
Stuff works good. Can get it of ebay for $130 everything u need
