Gone with the L6 in with the V8.....one issue

G'day all. currently working on my old VH to get her out of the back yard and on the road again. im soon going to have a fresh V8 to drop in her however i have one question about the engine mounts.

A) are they the same as the 202 (I have my doubts)

B) If not where can I get some from at a good price and if possible what part numbers?


any help much appriciated.

The mounts on the crossmember are the same ,but the engine mounts themselves are different.The engine mounts have two parts,the rubber part you can buy from rare spares ,the part that goes from the rubber mount to block you would proberly have to sorced from a wrecker and it has to suit a commodore(torana ,kingswoods v8's are different).https://rsp-secure.com/rarespares/de...l=VB COMMODORE
