Ok to update, VK is FINALLY on the road and hasn't died since the FIRST time I tried to drive it to vicroads a few weeks back (I'm prettysure the car is cursed.)
I've known for a while the fuel guage was stuffed but in the interest of working out what sort of economy I'm getting and not breaking down on the side of the road, I want to fix it.
I'm pretty sure the sender is just stuffed, it will go to full then half then empty then half etc. it's not even close to being accurate. I am seeing this as an excuse to maybe buy a new speco fuel gauge/sender if it's not too much work to install. I was just wondering whats involved.
I'm also going to try install my Viper alarm tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes! Or with my luck, ask you why it's not working.
