Wheel Size. - VC Commodore

Hello everyone, Update on the VC -
No interior, A/C Removed, Front guards, boot and bonnet removed.
Me being the idiot i am went out and bought 1pac primer.. when i need 2pac. so the primer is being delayed.

This thread has be created because im curious on what size wheels i could go with the standard VC?
Id like to know what inch i could go without scrubbing on the corners. ( i plan on buying stiff springs/shocks ) and id also like to know how wide i could possible go on the rear? and what type of work id need to put in to go wider.

not familiar with SA laws. In Qld wheel diameter is open, providing the rolling diameter of the tyre stays within 15mm & width is to not to exceed 1/3 more than manufacturers widest optional tyre for that car.

also you have to consider the offset of the wheel, when it comes to width clearance
Some wheels, you'll squeeze 245's under the rear with a bit of minor gaurd work, others you'll only get 225's under the gaurds.
with larger diameter wheels, you'll generally get a more square wall tyre which also tends to give you a bit more room for a given width
