Hi all.
Have done a search but cant find what im looking for. Just wondering what people have done for EFI fuel line on their conversions? I am putting a 304 in a VH. Have been told that the VL lines fit in nicely. I have a VN wagon donor that i could try to use the lines out of too. Anyone used a wagons lines? Its all a lot of stuffing round though. Have heard that you can buy twin EFI lines with wiring attached ready to roll out..? Anyone know what the best way to do it is?
Cheers.
wagon lines are to long even for an early wagon so i would go with either vl or vk efi lines.

I used a return line from an injected VK sedan in my VH conversion, it was a perfect fit, whilst I have never tried a VN wagon line my bet would be that it would be too long at the back and possibly the wrong shape.
I did have to bend the VK line at the fire wall to brig it up near the booster but it ended up being a perfect length, you'll need a pipe bender or something similar to do this though, without it the pipe will kink when you try an bend it.
I got a vl 6cyl set and took the fuel lines off my vh and compared and got the best out of the bunch to suit ....at the engine end it is a bit of a rat nest and it was some drama bending lines that had already been bent...if you need to bend anything do it with your hands and over a gentle radius...if it starts to kink you can get away with just unkinking as long as the kink is small.

Not sure about the wagon, but VN sedan lines will fit into a VK - they are too long but a bit of careful bending takes up the excess without being too ugly. VK or VL lines would be better of course.
Proper benders are cheap for small sizes like this, might be worth grabbing one if you have to make any significant changes. Heck, it wouldn't be overly difficult to bend the lot from scratch really.
Thanks a lot for the replies guys. Some good info there. Ill try to find a VL or Vk for the job. Otherwise is it possible to just buy the EFI lines from somewhere? Cheers.
HI guys.
Just wondering about the VN lines. People are saying that the VN wagon lines are too long, but Im just wondering if I started them from the engine bay and ran them back, would it just be a matter of cutting them as they get closer to the tank or is it more complicated than that? Just wondering why I cant use them but shorten them a bit?? Cheers for you help.
The extra length is in the middle, and you want to retain the shapes at front and rear to fit around the floor pan
Ahuh! That explains that then. Thanks mate.
