    Default Shorter shock's for vk

I,ve cut my springs on my vk, but now the springs are loose when i jack the car up.Is there any shocks from a different make of car that i can use that are shorter ,so it will stop this from happening. It's just a burnout car so the cheaper the better.

Instead of buying some shorter shocks, why not just spend $120 and buy some lowered king springs....they won't fall out then. Don't go pedders coz they're shorter and will fall out too. If ya look around ya can find second hand lowered kings for $50 a pair.

Or just cable tie the base of the springs to the control arm and they'll stay put.

If its a burnout car, go find some big hose clamps and use them to hold the spring in place. They work better then cable ties.

do yourself a favour, chuck out the useless cut springs, go to ebay and pick up a set of second hand set of proper lowered springs for $50-100. Then you won't have to worry about stuffing around with shock absorbers and strapping springs to the control arms

Its only a skid car. Hose claps are $5 a pack at super cheap and will do the job.

If its a burnout car I don't mind choppies.

Just hose clamp them so they Don't come out

why bother with springs and shocks? cut spring have a the equivilant rate as sitting on concrete anyway. just weld up the whole rear assembly. guaranteed itll be an impressive burnout car

if you must odds are a camira shock will fit, be shorter than a commodore and prob compliment the idiotic cut springs quite nicely.

Note I have seen a cut spring drop out from axel tramp, for the cost of a set of even second hand springs just put the right springs in
