Anyone know who makes replacement retractable seatbelts for the rear of VB-VL wagons? I need some for my VK. Bought all new Klippan seatbelts, front ones fit ok, haven't tried the centre rear, but the rear side belts don't seem to be right. The original seat belts have a locating pin built into the back of the unit, which the replacements DON'T have. The unit is suppose to sit at a 45 degree angle, and yeah just don't really like the fact that I'll have to guess the angle, do it up tight and hope it doesn't move.....just doesn't seem right.

Google Hemco. They sell online good prices.
klippan stuff is brilliant. used to use their belts on all the cars we imported.
anyway, to get the install 100% correct (best to do this with a rattle gun if you have it) attach the retractor with the ball bearing side facing UPWARDS and leave the bolt slightly loose so the retractor can move round, attach the shoulder harness and pull the seat belt all the way out till you run out of belt. loop the belt around your arm or something and put all your weight on the it so it is tight-tight then rattle gun up the bolt.
itll mean the belt slides perfectly into its position and should not lock up.
if after you do all that and the belt is a bitch to slide out (keeps locking up) try swapping the two sides over so the ball bearing side is facing downwards, cos im not confident in my memory, its been years since i installed them. if you tried it both ways and it still locks (and you didnt hear this from me) pop off the plastic cover on the ball bearing side and whip out the little orange cup thingie that the ball bearing rests on. that is the lock for sidways movement, dunno why its there, the belt will still work 100% correctly, itll lock with sudden movement etc, but it wont jam up from an incorrect angle.
make sense?
