Hey ppl
as the title says my headlights do not work, my parkers do but not headlights or high-beam, tried new bulbs and fuses still no go, also when i put my foot on the break, my light near the number plate goes on aswell =\ not sure if my parkers go on or not will have to check, just trying to see if i can get it fixed b4 taking it to a auto elec as they cost a lil bit lol
cheers.
This sounds like one of those electrical mysteries that could be caused by about a million different things. Happens alot in mineYou could check to see if power is getting to the bulbs first? Have you checked all fuses and relays?
No idea about the license plate, my brothers lancer does the same thing, except its his headlights that come on when he breaks haha
foot brake is a bad rear earth thats easy, earth your tail light harness to the body, - solved.
light, have you checked fuses?
when you pull the indicator stalk for high beam without the lights on do they light up?
My money is on a headlight switch, check my site for wiring diagrams, pop out the headlight switch andcheck for +12v on the switch if you have it short it out tot he pole for the low beam if it works you need a headlight switch.

Nah didn't bugga that just bent my boot a bit and cracked the small silver part and my back lights have seen better days, she was in a parjero 2 lol
Try the headlight switch in the car, pull it out with a blade screwdriver.
My head lights stopped working but had parkers and rear lights, fuses fine. It was the brown wire going into the switch which had dropped out of its socket or could be your switch if everything else is ok and no power.
Is anyone here a sparky?
i did a traineeship in auto electrics 15 years ago... does that count?
