hey guys im trying to get my indicator stalk out... mine stuffed to the max i cant use the right signal lol and my highs keep coming on every time i touch it it has so much movement you could almost use it as a colom shift lol but i kind of cracked the shiiiiiits and pulled on it and it came off and now the wires are showing lol so im not sure what to do i can get a new indicator stalk so yeh
Also to get the wiring harness attached to the stalk out, ya need to remove the other mechanism around the column as well, which the stalk attaches to. To remove it there's 3 screws which ya can get to with the indicator stalk either up or down (otherwise the mechanism covers the screws), can't remember which, after those 3 screws are out, undo the hazard light button and she'll pull out enuf for the stalk connector to come through. You'll have to remove the panel under the steering column to undo the stalk connector. 3 philips head screws which are removed from underneath, then that will come off and should reveal the wiring.
NICE products do repro indicator stalks, I bought one the other week through Repco. NBS70B is for a black one, for part numbers of other colour stalks, check out this PDF file.
