Default rb engine (vl/skyline) for my vh

just wonting any ideas on how to make the conversion so i can run a rb engine in my vh. the car is in the process of being stripped down to a sheel now and trying to think of ideas for fun engines. my son wonts a front mount so im think a rb engine would be an easy ish option

My son and I did this conversion to his VH. It is best to get a VL as a donour car car there is a lot of bits a pieces needed.

This is a good conversion. Especially in manual. My sons is now the turbo version. It is a weapon.

I got hooked and went a different direction and built a VB with V6 manual. It is now running the supercharged V6.

It costs probably a bit less to do the RB conversion compared to an ecotec conversion.

It is not a simple matter of changing the engine it involves:- radiator, engine, k frame, steering rack, column, moving the battery, gearbox, console, gearbox cross member, tailshaft, diff, fuel tank, fuel pump, return pump lines and wiring.

There should be plenty of info on this site.

    Good Luck with it.
Keep us posted with plenty of photos.
This is a good conversion using all original manufacturers parts. Easy engineered.
You will only have to fabricate the gearbox cross member or get one from Castlemain Rod Shop.
We did a lot of little things along the way like 4 wheel turbo disc brakes, turbo diff etc.
    Ebay is good for parts.
