    Default what type of turbo can i run on a stock 202

    hey gusy this qustion is for a mate with another vh not mine lolz haha he wanted to know what turbo u can run on a stock 202 and whats a safe psi to run at

    honestly, dont even bother. For any results you have to build the engine for turbo and it would cost heaps and have only bout the same power as a stock EFI 304 or a very mild 308. A V8 would be the way to go.

    they go great turbo 5-7 psi really wakes the 202 up any more youll want to build it up to suit they came stock turbo from HDT back in the day Holden Commodore SLE Turb 1982 for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand if i had the spare cash ide buy it right now :P

    I would advise pulling the con rods out and fitting ARP rod bolts first or it will end in tears.
    And correct heat range spark plugs.
    Garret TO4 work great.
    Problem is the exhaust manifold they use with them can fracture easy.
    SU Carby to bolt onto the sucker.
    Water and methanol kit on a hobbs pressure switch is also advised.

    starfire rods arp bolts and a gt35 or cheapo T3/T4 off evilbay what sort of 202 is it ide use a 12 port with injected manifold and make your own exhaust manifold and intercool it

    nah the pics showed a webber (at least i think it was a webber) 350 holley wont work. they dont like air being pushed into them.

    yes it is they can be had in most sizes even upto 3" was made by one aftermarket company .you can setup the 350 holley for blow through or just slap it inside a box so it has pressure on both the outside and inside of the carby many ways to skin a cat

    Have a squiz for a VF22 turbo from an STi subaru. Should run grouse.

    lol. Its an su. and its a draw through turbo setup not blow through.So in this case a 350 would work.
    the germans designed it, the aussies built it, the japs got it moving and the wogs got it dosing...
