VK Idle fluctuating

Hi Guys,

Recently I'm having the idle fluctuating on the VK, sometimes it will be say 1200, then all of a sudden snaps to 900, then back to 1200, then wait a bit and it snaps to 900.

What could be causing this, I'm thinking something playing up with the idle control on the Carb as it seems to be a bit complex, is it electronically controlled?

maybe think about getting a carby kit through it and get a tune on it mate

auto or manual?

you know what the TVS is? checked all the hoses to make sure nothing has come off? namely the vacuum advance hose. i would say it is a vac hose problem, but could also be a problem with your transmission if its auto.

Has it got air conditioning? If it has there will be a fast idle control device that increases the idle speed every time the air con compressor clutch engages.
