I think that the Headlight wipers only came out on the VC & only the VH had the wrap-around chrome bars?

Here's something that would help u out:

The Commodore SL/E came with 4.2L V8 and Tri-Matic as standard. Featured blacked out grill, headlight wiper/washers, extended rear bumpers, 15-inch alloy wheels, black door frames and tail panel, chrome exhaust, velour trim and cut pile carpet, reading lights, tachometer, burr walnut dash, four discs, power steering, air conditioning and a Eurovox stereo radio cassette player with electric aerial. Options included the 5.0L V8 with Turbo-Hydramatic 350 or 400 transmission, and central locking.

Well i bought it in primer ready to be painted, and all the parts are in the car so i dont know and exterior details to identify it. Its on my property and at the moment and i only got pictures of the body numbers.
    I know it has a 308 and a turbo-hydramatic 350 in it.

easiest way would be to supply a vin. L31 motor could be a 4.2 off the top of my head; the body code needs to be 8VX for it to be SLE though...

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
