hey guys im looking for the blue 202 vac diagrams it seems my car dosnt wanna start without them
for the varijet carbi???
i have the diagnosis/symptoms chart and some basic rebuild info on the carby but no vacum diagrams
im pretty sure ive seen them when i googled vk wiring diagrams someone on another site has put them up with the wiring diagrams i printed them out ages ago there was diagrams for all vb to vks so it would be worth your while googling them.
iv tryed googling em but cant find anything of the topic
one link some info here
vh 202 varajet carburettor questions
another here pictur of running carby left side
Varajet Carburettor
thats all i got...
sorry mate like i said i only have info on its internals
too tell you the truth the 2 i worked on kept flogging out we ended up getting ones of a falcon... cant remember what model though
only other thing i can think of is vist a carby shop like a rebuilder for trade only and ask if they have the diagram for a carton or something![]()
without the vac line hooked up it wont idle but if you mess with the throttle it will idle for like 30 seconds then die if you got it wrong
when you have it connected to the right port you will be able to keep it running with a little accelerator
just test each o ne then try to set carby for the one that was closest to idling e.g. less throttle
the vacum should be connected toward the side of the main tube of the carby about halfway down and is normally a smallewr hose port
What 202 motor setup have you got ie VC, VH, VK etc

We have got a lot of the vac lines disconnected on the VC 202 we have and it runs fine, they are blanked off though, the 3 port one that comes out of the head broke off years ago and we just looped the lines together. I will have a look at where the other ones go too. I will scan a few pages out of the workshop manual later. As long as the lines are blanked off and not sucking vacuum it should start, most of the vac lines are for emmission stuff or switching advance vac for the dissy from either the manifold or carb to help with cold start running.
Others control the flap in the air cleaner to once again help with cold running, but if they are all blanked off it should start. I'll post the scans a bit later for you.
*sigh* all you need is manifold vacuum to the brake booster, carb full vacuum to the PCV, ported vacuum to the dizzy and carb full vacuum to transmission.
the rest you are safe to plug up, but not legally.
I have a workshop manual in the Garage, if you can wait till tonight i'll post something up.
Cheers Josh

Reading through the manual I have and looking at the diagrams there is a slight difference between manual and auto models.
