how much should i be asking for a vk efi 202 3.3L and transmission good price?

have a vk efi 202 3.3L engine and auto transmission done 250.000 ks new dizzy cap leads spark plugs running good when taken out last weekend.. and not sure a good price and dont wanna get ripped off or rip any one else off either feed back would be good

What condition is the body, paint and interior in? Does everything work? Would it pass rego inspection easy enough etc etc.

In that case probably not much, chuck it on ebay with your minimum, see what happens.

not alot I bought a complete EFI VK with averyage body perfect interior for $300, so I would say $200 for a virgin bore 202

evilbay will be your friend, chuck it up for $100 start price no reserve and see what you get.

id start it at $100 most people starting it at $250 dont get any bids at all people on ebay are tightarses..or sell it without the injection setup and sell the injection setup seperate because its the injection setup that sells to all the guys with old holdens eg torries etc

Start it off at $250 for an engine and tranny thats done 250,000km the traumatic werent good with 250km let alone 250,000 on them. You wont get a single bid.

If the engine hasnt had a rebuild yet it will probably need one soon, a honest, realistic, in this reality its worth about $150-200, with ALL the EFI gear airbox, AFM, wiring harness, fuel pump, fusebox relays $250 max. Starting it up at $100 might see some encouraged bids by competition outbidding each other.

i thought id add i recently paid $175 for a 202 black good runner with a full 4 speed manual conversion and 10 bolt salisbury diff and it came with the rolling shell with slotted rotors and nolathane bushes in quite a few places and genie extractors and 3''exhaust 202s just arent worth much these days. low starts on ebay attract more bids high starts tend to scare people off.

sold for 300 and onli wanted the efi to do conversion so still got the block pretty good wen the right person comes alone
