    2 options
bodgy - cut and lengthen your shaft if you cut it in the middle sleeve a piece of pipe inside and weld it up.

Properly - calla cv shaft place usually rthey do tailshafts as well and get them to machine the ends of your shaft and make a new one to length

Ya could use a V8 tailshaft, but they're getting harder to find. The V8 tailshafts are definitely longer tho.

Here's some pics I took the other day of a few tailshafts, the longer one is a V8 h/duty tailshaft. Not only is it longer but also has a bigger CV, and bigger uni's.

Make up a space between the diff flange and tailshaft flange. Same concept as wheel spacers.

Won't work with a VH diff they use u-bolts to go around the uni joint, not a flange like the borgy's in VK onwards use. Plus doing that would make the whole shaft sit forward so it would need new holes drilled for the mount around the centre bearing.
