    Smile just bought a vh v8, help me with info?

    hi guys i have just bought a vh v8 308 4 speed manual wagon, it came on HDT aeros, ive looked for other cars with 5 litres, and have found only 1 which was an ss, was my five litre transplanted? did it come from factory? could it be optioned? and can the aeros be optioned aswell? any help is apreciated, i am planning to restore it and want to know if its worth it

    That engine number is a Vic Police issued. On the build plate, does it state L31 next to ENG?
