hey was just wondering wats the best suited supercharger for a black 202 carby motor?? thanks
depends how much money you want to spend/power expectations
if you are doing it on a budget, have a read of this thread, I've heard of people running the SC-14 supercharger quite successfully on Holden 202's

I ran a vortech V-2 on my EFI VK for a while never got it completely sorted, honestly im much happier with my 5L, I got mine for next to free (borrowed) just had to adapt it, to buy one new, plus computer, injection gear, dyno tuning etc its the usual storey stick in a 5l and with the change hot it up.

I've played with it, a few years ago. Also with a Vortech.
You need aftermarket fuel and ignition control. An early Haltech will do it. But its allot of wireing, you basically take the factory setup and throw it over your shoulder.
It works well, but labour / outcome... 5ltr ftw.
cheers mates i might just get a 5litre and throw in it and then charge that hahaha. it should go alright in the vk. do u guys reckon leave the 4speed in it or drop a 5 speed in it??
5spd. Either W57 or T5.
4spd's are made from bread sticks.
I killed 3 M21's behind my carbed 308, and that engine had maybe 300 hp at the flywheel
And they are really crap shifting box anyway.
Go the T5.
I ran a haltec E6x on my 202, about as hard to wire up as a EFI5L, when i get time im wiring it up for sequential injection, I would love a whipple...mmmmmmm....
As for gearbox I run a T5 havent had any worries yet touchwood.
