HELP im trying to install my cd player n i have got too connecter from the main wires that r the propa colours to install the wires im unsure wat to do n also wat mount can i use to keep my cd player in the middle PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP AM STUCK MAJORY

Heres the wiring colours, which should get you off to a good start

Accesories - Yellow
Constant - Orange
Illumination - Grey
Earth - Black/White

Front Left (+) - Tan
Front Right (+) - Light green

Rear Left (+) - Dark Brown
Rear Right (+) - Dark blue

Are you replacing the speakers as well? If so I would really advise running new speaker cable for them, as the speakers in the VK's run a constant (-) which wont work so great with your new CD player.

As for mounting your cd player, you need to get the sleve that came with it to fit in the hole, from memory you need to file down some of the plastic next to the a/c switch to get it to go in all the way, then you can ever rivit the sleve in or use the tabs on it.

and dont forget that the newer players are load heavier than the original so to save the dash cracking best to mobify the original top rear bracket and fit that to the radio as well.

um i have ran new wires from my speakers in the bk but the old one is still in the car so wat do i do with that one i dnt want to connect that up.. i want to use the new ones i ran....
