Quick question...
Are you 16?
stroke it twin turbo it. there is a turbo vk on you tube putting out 409hp.
good question?
A bit of boost would get it going.
$8,600 from TTT Performance.
Unlimited Time. Unlimited money? You dont own a VK![]()
Daydreamers annoy me when im tired.
unlimited budget/williamstown=doubtful.
and that is my mathematical answer.
(cant argue with maths, man!)
Unlimited time, unlimisted budget and basically no rules??
Sooooo you're going to live forever... that's pretty alright!
Personally, I would put away 50 bux a month for 1000 years, then you'll have $600K
By then technology will have advanced a bit, though you may have to move to Earth 2 as the current Earth will be a toxic wasteplanet.
Now, I think by then they will have developed some sort of perpetual energy system that will work in a way where the faster you go the more power to have to go faster... AND it won't me EFI or a V8... perfect for your project!
I estimate buying the required parts for this system will be about $399,997.97 inc GST (Galactic Service Tax).
You'll also need to buy a small moon that orbits one of the neighbouring planets, about $86k for 1,120km diameter moon.
Once you have the moon, you'll need to make a road that goes all the way around the moon, this will probably take up most of your remaining budget but DON'T try to cost cut at this point. The last thing you want on your moon road is a pothole while you're speeding along in the VK! Can you imagine a pothot at like Mach 7?
And yeah, because the road goes round and round on a never ending road.
One thing to keep in mind though, there is point to be a point at which you will be going so fast the vk's speed will overcome the gravitational pull of the moon and you will take off into space.
For safety reasons, I would advise you have an ejector seat in the vk and also wear a space suit.
Hope that helps and good luck!
Can you give some more details around your goals? "Fast" is subjective... for my nan 65kmph is fast so you're there already with the VK.
Is this car going to be Track? Street? Show? Drag?
Why not V8 or EFI? What about v4, v6, v10?
Do you have mechanical skills? How good?
And can you be a little more realistic with budget, "unlimited" is a laugh but will make is hard to set a goal.

Don't know why anyone didn't say that in the first place, only logical option really.
why 202?
seriously.
Turbo, if you must.
Rebuild the bottom end.
Forged internals.
8:1 compression.
Head studs.
T4 turbo and about 25psi.
Please have an issue with "unlimited budget" because if you say that's your budget they know you're full of shit.
12G seems alright. I would agree with soop's suggestion.
Rebuilt it, turbo it and also give the driveline some love. High ratio LSD would be a start and also strengthen your trans/box.
well with 12K you should really have enough to play around with bore/stroke to make it rev its rings off. i know nothing of 202's but they are quite a long stroke for a poxy piston yeah? so try de-stroking it, then whamming the boost on.
i wonder if you could get another couple of extra inlet valves in it somehow... hmmm.
Im sure something like that has been done, ive seen a grey motor with a cross flow head cant remember how many valves though guessing shed still be a two per cylinder, rare as. Heard of overhead cam heads and all sorts of ridiculas stuff like that in red motors but never seen any pics, with heaps of money i guess anythings possible. It would be pretty cool to see though i love my red motors![]()
I know a mob that made a twin cam head for a 202. Turbo charged and the lot.
They had all the machines with which to do it, so the cost was minimal to them, how ever the cost to do it for someone else would be astronomical.
Its probably not as crazy to fit a overhead cam to a red motor as us average joes think, specially with the right equipment, spose they just delete the timing gears put in a new front cover and main seal add a pulley for a timing belt to drive the cam whack on a head somehow then whola, overhead cam.
Making the head is expensive though
mmmmm i would imagine it would be very very technical too.
lol, "whack on a head" all the geometry would need to be recalculated, head would need to be made from scratch, then a cast made (wow ouch $$$$) or you could get IBLOWN to make one from a solid piece of alloy (WOW OUCH $$$$).
interesting thought though:
3300 HC (High compression)
Capacity 202 ci (3312.8 cc)
OHV six cylinder inline, front engined, rear wheel drive
Single throat Bendix Stromberg BXV-2 downdraught carburettor
Bore and stroke 92.08 mm x 82.55 mm
Power output (DIN):135 bhp (100.7 kW) at 4400 rpm
Torque (DIN):190 lb/ft (231 Nm) at 2000 rpm
Compression ratio:9.4:1
^^^ does that sound right? its stats from a HJ or something.
