dose anyone know how much a exhaust would cost for my vh sedan (twin exhaust) and where from im in vic melbourne
well the 2.5 inch i have the on the wagon has recepts for 1500 that was extractors and twin piped lukeys. prolly about 500 - 800 depending on the material and quality of the mufflers
exhaust are expensive, its something that generally you cant really get help on a forum for, you haver to go to your local exhaust shop and get a quote on what you want.
dose anyone know what mr muffler is like
why do you want a twin exhaust on a 202? it will be too big for it and there wont be enough back pressure i think you would loose power with a twin.correct me if im wrong peeps but its my understanding that you need a certain amount of backpressure and if a 2 1/2'' single is too big for a 202 then a twin will definatley be.
yeh a 2 and a 1/4 is suffice for a 202. a stock one anyways.
iv heard of ppl putting twin exhaust on a 202 before
Yeh but what kind of 202 did they have? and we never said it cant be done just its silly because you lose power rather then gain.
wait what!? like have just the twins off the manifold going into 1 like the stock setup then split back into 2 again further back?
why not just have it split into twin from the diff back.
its a 202... unless you have a Big ass supercharger on it, a sports exhaust with extractors should do wonders
My 202 exhaust was 300 custom made 2.5" extractors back.
I agree that twin exhausts on a 202 is abit over the top, unless you have the power that goes with all that noise.
dose anyone know iff advanced headers would make a bit of diffrence assides the standared extractors becozzz i was looking at the advanced lukey headers and i was also looking on ebay at some shit
The car standard did not come with extractors so i'm assuming you mean the exhaust manifold. Extractors are a big improvement over the standard exhaust manifold.
I haven't seen them, but all brands of extractors are different in some ways, but then some are just copies. I had Lukeys on my 253.
Vk Efi came with extractors.
Get some pacemakers
Their different brands.
Could be alot different, could be nothing
Just buy the pacemakers that are allwase on eBay
Dont be expecting MASSIVE performance improvements though, unless you have other upgrades to go with it. Or you could call Bursons Auto Parts and get a System and put it on yourself, they have 2.5inch would save you abit of $$ doing it yourself.
