i know most stuff from vk berlina but i was told that i need to change the hump in the floor for the t700 to fit in as the mechanic said the hump is to small is this true or another way around it cheers let me know feed back
oh and its a vk 202 and converting engine out of vr so 5.0 ltr injected wth auto t700
there are ways around it like choosing a different gearbox like a t5 for example or an earlier auto. If you want to keep the 700 auto your options are much more limited i have heard of people persuading enough clearance but i'm not sure how you go with that

Well being a turbo box i assume and i mean assume I'm not 100% sure but any turbo pattern box should bolt up

wouldn't a TH400 be a better move? (If TH700 is out of the question for what ever reason)
if i wanted to change to manual t5 what would i need and how much am i looking at roughly
any way let me know if some one has used the t700 and just bashed the tunnel out for clearence and still passed for engineers certificate or if its gonna be a problem later on i hear you onli have to bash it out 1 inch ot so in certain area
1 inch out in certain area
same conversion dude and turbo 350 fits and copes very well. strong little box
