VK EST wiring

Has anyone removed the EST wiring from the VK? Is it a huge task as to rewiring the engine or can i just disconnect the plus involved in it?

I had been searching around and havnt found further info i need to make the choice to remove the wiring. Computer is long gone and already have the blue dizzy.

pull the est fuse put in he1 distributor dont connect the exsting negitive on the coil (connect the he1 - to coil) use the existing positive done.

Does that mean the EST harness is ready to come out completely?
Im just sick of it beeing there not being used.

It does come out, but the engine loom and EST loom are integrated so youll have to separate the two, its not hard. the EST unlugs at the computer then you pull it through the firewall, then just start unplugging each wire and pulling it out of the harness.

I got it out today, alot of the wires attached to this loom was not in use. Except the tacho wire. Cleans up the engine bay great with it gone.
