Hello All,
Basic Question but its annoying me a little
Put a TCI shifter into the VK and now cant get it started. I assume its some thing to do with the nuetral cut out switch.
There are 2 larger guage purple wires and two smaller guage wires (pink and green) that run into the shifter.
I assume the larger guage wires are the nuetral shut off and the pink and green are the reverse lighhts?
Am I wrong or is there something else I'm missing. Motor just doesn't turn over whe I hit the key.
Car is a conversion from carby 6 to carby 8 with a t400. I've chopped the wiring out of the engine bay loom that wasn't needed but the EST box is still in there. Would this be causing the issue?
yep. put a loop of wire in the purple wires and it should fire.
edit* and then fix the switch
