Gearbox helppp!!

hey guys ive got a vh commodore 4 speed with a red 202 and the mc6 torque-master,the gearbox is gone...i was just wondering will a vk 5 speed bolt straight up? or how about the m20 for the 202?i dont really want to stay with the torque master as i have a worked 202

go for an M20 box it will be much stronger, from memory the tailshaft will be different, on the front section so I would get the following items
gearbox
linkages
tailshaft

Fill it up with Castrol VMX80 and it will change nice and smooth also.

I did the conversion to a VK 5 spd M76 from an MC6 a while back while i still had the 202 in my VK:

cheeers guys..just to let you know i picked myself up an m20 box for a 202....im gonna install tomorrow will there be a few things ill need to get? how do i go about the tail shaft also

talk to a CV joint place to cut it down. else look in the yellow pages there is a local place to me that does tailshafts.
