Best carby for 4 barrel manifold for 253

Hello all i just brought a 4 barrel Manifold for my 253 what would be the best carby would love to hear your suggestion people regards lawrence

holleys are the go imo....very easy to tune if you have a basic understanding

just get a 253 Quaddie..as they came from the factory (on Wb 253s and VC/VH Commodores)
jetted and set up correctly for the 253 they are a bolt on no hassles swap
(unlike a Holley or Carter or...)

Would have to be rochester quadrajet.

quadrajet is the choice of carb for most holden v8's except for mega crazy rev horsepower machines.

get injector bosses drilled and welded into the manifold, get a carbie throttle body setup for it and convert it to EFI. Nice cold starts, better power, better economy else stick a quaddy on it as every one else says, or to be different ditch the manifold and fit a twin carbie or even 8 carbies to it.
