Default vh electric windows and air con

Hi there. Just wanted to ask, Does the VH SLE come standard with electric windows and air con out the factory and if u didn't want electric windows or air con they just take it out for u. If so, is the wiring harness still left in the doors for the electric window motors even tho they put manual mechanisms in. And if u didn't want air con, did they leave the box under the glove box or changed it. I'm looking at buying a nice example but it don't have electric windows and air con and i really afta 1 with both cause I got brand new genuine electric window switchs and air con button and compressor. Cheers

All VH SL/E's had A/C standard from factory. Power windows was on option - the harness should be in the door if it has central lock option.

Cheers Derek. so if some1 selling a VH and says no a/c, it must b disconnected but the a/c box should b still under the dash rite, unless they taken that out too but very unlikely cause u have to pull whole dash out and find a blank box with blower motor. Very big job too do.

Yes you would think so, but you may want to check that it is a genuine SL/E and not a mock up. Some people remove the compressor when the A/C stops working and say 'no A/C' as a result. As long as the under dash plumbing is there (incl. evaporator box) it's usually fairly easy for an auto elec to get it running cold again.

that's providing the evaporator core hasn't got a leak
in which case, you are fairly much stuffed. The evaporator case is a sealed unit.....
