Well, I learned a new lesson, Don't buy Supra box's from a mate who acts a little shifty.

My 'recond' supra box was actually about to die when I bought it.

anyway, I still want a manual gearbox in my car, and I have a few hundered left to burn.

What other box's will fit in a VK without the need of any modifications or adaptor plates?

I know a Trimatic will, a 4 Speed and the M76, but there's gotta be better options than that.

you got it in one... withOUT adaptors etc, they are the only 3

If you want a good checp 5 speed look around for a second hand falcon T5 I have seen good boxes for around $500, make sure you get the tailshaft yoke and front section, and the speedo drive.
