the vk ecu runs the whole computer so u would have to use that, um Holden had alot of problems with manuals behing the fuel injected 202, i havnt myself done the converson, but it should be pretty simple if ur changing the dash as well

It should be plug and play at the main harness near the booster, the engine computer has no connection to the auto box so a manual shouldnt be a problem. but the EFI also had a special relay controlling the fuel pump so im not sure how that comes into play.

If u isolate the EFI computer and wiring out of the VK loom, then u don't have to swap the dash over or anything. That's what I done when putting an EFI 202 into one of our VH's, it was just an extra loom that I patched in, wasn;t to hard. Chucked a manual behind that, wasn't to bad. Ya don't need to run the EST crap with the EFI dizzy either.

With the RB30 conversion I rekon it would be easier changing everything over. Not sure if u could rip apart the loom to make a patch loom as I'd say it's a bit more technical then the VK EFI loom.

We bought a VK which had an RB30 in it, and yeah everything seemed to be transferred over from the VL, so would of been fairly easy, just would of been fiddley changing the entire looms over and dashboards. But doing it that way most of it will fit.

Was a lot of fun driving it! Mainly coz it had a LSD under the bum lol.

    est to efi conversions.
Ive done 1 recently and sorteded out the brown shit heap i posted about a while a go so if you have any pacific questions ask them.
unplug your exsisting engine loom at the bulkhead connector pull out the est wiring and control box put in efi loom ecu all efi related things fuel lines tank pump airflow meter.
wire in the tachco matic relay in the fuse box as it powers up the ecu and keeps it powered up via, - signal from the coil.
while the taco relay is made the ecu and feul pump are powered up (also the injectors and engine sensors get there supply through it).
theres a change or 2 needed at the bulk head connector also (from memory).
