Vk Exterior door handles

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know where I can locate/purchase non chrome exterior door handles? I need to paint them for my brock commodore.. I think some sl models came out in black?
Any help would be great.

Late model vl ones are black, that's what I used on my wagon

I had an 84 SL with chrome ones.. As far as I was aware all of them were chrome.. Why not get chrome ones, sand, prime and paint?

painting chrome never works. plus its on a handle which is the most touched/rubbed section of your car. paint wouldnt last a week.

yeah I'm chasing some for my SS. Rear handles are shagged
I saw a couple of NOS black ones on Ebay once, unfortunately missed out on them

Yep late model Executive VL Commodores came out with black handles. They even made black coloured scratch plates to suit the handles ( I have a set at home I took of my VL years ago).
